Rafael doesn’t out-hit opponents; he out-draws them. A variety-based all-court game built on the backhand slice and drop-shot combination, sudden height changes, and a one-handed backhand that turns defence into invitation. Best on clay, quietly dangerous on low-bouncing grass.

Quarterfinal run at the Vantora Grass Challenge
Rafael carved his way to the last eight on grass, winning three matches built almost entirely on slice depth and drop-shot timing before falling to a bigger server in a tight quarterfinal. His best grass result on the Obsidian Tour to date.
